How to start up in macOS from Windows
Dec 11, 2015 I just finished installing Windows 10 on my 2013-14 Macbook Pro 15' (bootcamp of course). This is a fresh install, with no other programs or apps installed other than Chrome and the new bootcamp drivers. So far so good, other than 3 things: 1) The laptop gets really hot, even while idling /.

You can go back and forth between OS X and Windows on your Mac, but you can’t run both operating systems simultaneously under Boot Camp. Instead, you have to boot one operating system or the other — thus, the name Boot Camp. Restart your Mac, and hold down the Option key until icons for each operating system appear onscreen.
- From the notification area on the right side of the Windows taskbar, click to show hidden icons.
- Click the Boot Camp icon .
- From the menu shown, choose Restart in macOS.
If you haven't installed the latest Boot Camp updates, you might get the message ”Could not locate the OS X boot volume.'

- Restart your Mac from the Start menu in Windows.
- Press and hold the Option (or Alt) ⌥ key as your Mac begins to restart.
- Select your Mac startup volume (Macintosh HD) in the Startup Manager window, then press Return or click the up arrow:
